May I have a question: I understand you don't use headphones, but if you did plug one in the Model 1, and cue-d the channel, turned volume to zero, can you hear a what sounds like an extreme bit-crushed crackle from whatever sound that channel is receiving? I tried a Model 1 and found this bug. Would like to know if it's unique to that mixer, or all Model 1s. Thanks, and super thanks for your "studio tour". ,'-)

After they nailed the RD8 (probably because Roland's secret to the TR808 was shitty defective components, something Behringer is an expert on lol), I really expected Behringer to nail the 909 too, but this sounds like a fail. The TR909 sounds like what I expect and the RD9 sounds like software

bought this and it is a dud. Even when building a sound from scratch with no extraneous modulations, parameters spontaneous switch on/off and the values change. Some serious problems here. If a synth cant hold the parameter values it's a useless plastic box.

The RD-9 is extremely impressive. The 909 sounds kind of filtered and saturated. The RD-9 seems like it would cut through a mix better, due to how clean and crisp it sounds, but the 909 would probably sit in a mix a bit better. I guess it depends on what you need them for. I feel like an RD-9 ran thru an Analog Heat, could replicate the 909 perfectly.
